Hydraulic losses during unsteady flow of liquid in a pipe

Tato práce je zaměřena na řešení hydraulických ztrát při nestacionárním proudění kapaliny v trubici, jak pro laminární, tak i turbulentní režim proudění v hydraulicky hladkém potrubí. Pro nestacionární proudění je předpokládán průběh viskozity po průřezu, který se odvodí ze stacionárního rychlostního profilu, jež je matematicky popsán vhodně zvolenou funkcí. Je odvozen Laplaceův obraz pro nestacionární rychlostní profil a střední hodnotu rychlosti v závislosti na tlakové diferenci, ztrátový součinitel a pomocí metody přenosových matic jsou vypočtena vlastní čísla soustavy, která představují útlum a vlastní frekvenci. Vlastní čísla jsou porovnána s hodnotami z programu „F-ACHAR“ a ztrátový součinitel se součinitelem pro quasi-stacionární přístup.This thesis is focused on solving hydraulic losses during unsteady flow of liquid in pipe for both laminar and turbulent flow in smooth pipes. Radial viscosity distribution is assumed to be the same as for steady flow. Viscosity distribution is derived from velocity profile, which is mathematically described with suitably chosen function. Laplace images of unsteady velocity profile and mean velocity in cross-section are derived depending on pressure difference. Loss coefficient is derived and on base of transfer matrix method, self-numbers are calculated. Self-numbers represent attenuation and own frequency. Self-numbers are compared to values from software called “F-ACHAR” and loss coefficient is compared to the one for quasi-steady method.

Výzkum modulace mozkové aktivity pomocí elektrického proudu je v posledních desetiletích stále populárnější. Techniky mozkové stimulace mají řadu slibných aplikací v terapii nebo neurovědách. V této práci zkoumáme účinky transkraniální stimulace střídavým proudem (tACS) s frekvencí 7 Hz na klidový stav mozku. Vyvinuli jsme metodiku pro provedení studie a naměřili jsme mozkovou aktivitu pěti zdravých studentů před a po stimulaci. Všichni dobrovolníci měli dominantní pravou ruku a jejich věkový rozsah byl od 21 do 26 let. Bylo spočítáno několik měr pro analýzu neurální aktivity a komunikace mezi regiony mozkové kůry ve frekvenčních pásmech delta, théta, alfa a beta. Zaznamenali jsme několik podstatných odchylek ve výkonu neurálních oscilací a v konektivitě mezi některými oblastmi mozku (zejména v delta a théta rytmech). Většina těchto změn se týkala levé hemisféry, na které byly stimulační elektrody umístěny.Research on modulating brain activity using electrical currents has been increasingly popular in the last few decades. Brain stimulation techniques have a range of promising applications in therapy and neuroscience. This thesis investigates the effects of transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), with the frequency of 7 Hz, on the brain's resting state. We developed a methodology for conducting the study and measured five healthy students' brain activity before and after the stimulation. All of the volunteers were right-handed, their ages ranging from 21 to 26 years. We computed several measures to analyze the neural activity and communication between the regions of the cerebral cortex in the delta, theta, alpha, and beta frequency bands. We registered a few significant shifts in power of neural oscillations and connectivity between some brain areas (notably in the delta and theta rhythms). Most of these changes affected the left hemisphere, which was the stimulation site

The properties of recycled rubber from waste tires in the production of cement composites

This article presents the results of a study dealing with the use of a combination of recycled rubber from waste tires as a 100% substitute in the production of cement composites. Aggregate was replaced with recycled rubber in two ratios, namely the ratio of 50/50 and the ratio of 40/60 of the share of fraction 0/1 mm and fraction 1/3 mm. The designed formulas of cement compositeswere subjected to the tests of their physical and mechanical properties in order to determine the properties of the used recycled rubber combination. The tests included the consistency of the grain curve, mixing water properties, consistency of cement mortar, and strength characteristics (tensile flexural strength and compressive strength). The study presents results that are fundamentally different from the comparative samples and their use in the building industry; however, at the same time, they open upnew possibilities of their utilization as a building material

Shortest Dominating Set Reconfiguration under Token Sliding

In this paper, we present novel algorithms that efficiently compute a shortest reconfiguration sequence between two given dominating sets in trees and interval graphs under the Token Sliding model. In this problem, a graph is provided along with its two dominating sets, which can be imagined as tokens placed on vertices. The objective is to find a shortest sequence of dominating sets that transforms one set into the other, with each set in the sequence resulting from sliding a single token in the previous set. While identifying any sequence has been well studied, our work presents the first polynomial algorithms for this optimization variant in the context of dominating sets.Comment: To appear at FCT 2023 (Fundamentals of Computation Theory

Superstructure Key Electromechanical System

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vytvořením nadstavby pro elektromechanický klíčový systém podle požadavků firmy Bosch Diesel s.r.o. sídlící v Jihlavě. Tato nadstavba by měla evidovat zodpovědné osoby za prostory v závodě a ty opravňovat ke schvalování přístupů do těchto prostor. Tento problém je dále řešen ve třech částech, kterými jsou teoretická, analytická a návrhová část. Teoretická část řeší danou problematiku na základě literárních zdrojů. Část analytická dále rozebírá současný stav klíčového systému, jeho informační schopnost a nedostatky pro interní potřeby firmy. Nejdůležitější, návrhová část práce se zabývá samotným řešením tohoto problému. Výsledkem je rozšíření klíčového systému, splňující požadavky firmy pro návrhy změn oprávnění přístupů evidovaných dle odpovědných osob za dané prostory.This bachelor thesis deals with creating interfaces for electromechanical key system according to the requirements of Bosch Diesel s.r.o. from Jihlava. This extension should record the person responsible for the premises in the race and you warrant to approve access to these areas. This issue is further addressed in three parts, which are the theoretical, analytical and design part. The theoretical part deals with the issue on the basis of literary sources. Part of the analysis also examines the current status of key system, its information capabilities and weaknesses internal needs of the company. The most important part of the design work is concentrated on the solution to this problem. The result is an extension of a key system, meeting the requirements of the company for the design change access permissions registered by the persons responsible for the premises.

Surface energy feedback study of the different kinds of liquids and materials - experiment

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá měřením kontaktního úhlu a následným vyhodnocením povrchové energie. K měření je použito šesti druhů kapalin, které jsou nanášeny na různé materiály, u nichž nás zajímá jejich povrchová energie. Měření a vyhodnocení se provádí na přístroji SEE SYSTEM, s vlastním softwarem, za použití vybraných metod k určení povrchové energie. Pokus byl během práce rozšířen oproti zadání o vystavení vzorků materiálů UV záření a pozorování vlivu tohoto záření na povrchovou energii.This bachelor thesis deals with contact angle measurement and surface energy evaluation. For surface energy measurement of eigt different solid surfaces six types of liquids were used. Computer-based instrument SEE SYSTEM and special software were used for measurement and evaluation. As the second task influence of UV radiaton on surface energy of these solid surfaces was observed.

Práce se zabývá problematikou marketingové komunikace retailové části společnosti Cyklospeciality s.r.o., operující na trhu s cyklistickým vybavením. První část práce se věnuje teoretickým poznatkům marketingového mixu, zaměřeném na komunikaci se zákazníky. Ve druhé, analytické části práce je představena společnost, její obchodní situace a na základě teoretických východisek proveden marketingový výzkum současného stavu komunikační koncepce společnosti. Na základě výsledků jsou navrhnuta doporučení pro úpravu komunikačního mixu.The thesis deals with marketing communication of the retail company Cyklospaciality s.r.o., operating on a bicycle equipment market. The first part is focusing on theoretical knowledge of a marketing mix, especially communication with customers. The analytical part describes the company, its business situation and applies theoretical knowledge of marketing research to the current state of the company. The results are given as a recommendation for altering the communication mix.

Design of flood protection in the village Kobeřice

Import 23/08/2017Cílem této diplomové práce je návrh protipovodňové ochrany - retenční nádrž v obci Kobeřice. V teoretické části je zpracován současný stav lokality, specifikace problémů v daném území a legislativní i technické řešení problematiky suchých poldrů. V experimentální části je zpracován návrh suchého poldru. Je zde zpracována varianta navržené nové hráze, návrh výpustného zařízení a bezpečnostního přelivu. V návrhu jsou obsaženy hydrotechnické výpočty, textová část a výkresová dokumentace, která obsahuje výkresy situace, podélného profilu nádrže, podélného profilu hráze, vzorového příčného řezu hráze a funkčního objektu.The objective of this thesis is design of flood protection - retention reservoir in the village Kobeřice. The theoretical part contains the current state of the locality, specification of problems in the area and the legislative and technical solutions to the problems of dry polders. In the experimental part is a proposal of the dry polder. There is processed a variant of the proposed new dam, proposal drainage facilities, and safety spillway.
